Retro Studios doesn't know there DK games very well but I am thankful they are reviving the series but they have a lot to improve on so next time I don't want them to not include the Air Meter again! That simply took away the opportunity for Enguarde to be a ridable mount and if they didn't keep the Air Meter while he appeared in the game then riding him wouldn't be a trap to make his appearance in the game he could of behaved somewhat similar to Rambi but underwater and electric would of been his weakness like Rambi is to Fire. Though there was a problem Retro Studios in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze just went Sonic Mode by making you be able to breath for a bit underwater and you have to get Air Bubbles so you don't drown but you can swim instead of walking and jumping underwater thank god but still like was that necessary?! None of the other DK games have ever done that not even Donkey Kong 64 until Tropical Freeze came. Enguarde could of made a great returning appearance in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze since they finally brought back going underwater (in Returns if they jumped in water they strangely drown in it). Rare did a better job portraying the Animal Buddies when they were working with Nintendo before being bought by Microsoft later in the years. Rare only designed the Animal Buddies they don't own them at all. I mean he is my favorite Animal Buddy but why does he have to be the only Animal Buddy to be ridden nowadays? It makes no sense at all and it's pointless. He was even more pointless in Tropical Freeze since he appeared more rarely in that game. I am tired of having only Rambi as the only Animal Buddy since Donkey Kong Country Returns. The Map system could be similar to Donkey Kong Country 3 and Super Mario World combined being in birds eye view and a non-linear map having the worlds connected along with the Kongs running around on the map ^^
Since Donkey Kong Country Returns came out in 2010 and then 4 years later in 2014 we got Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze so i have a good bet that the next title will be in 2018 likely at next year's E3.

In addition thanks to BlueMario1016 for reminding me to put that in X3 The game would look great running at 1080p with the Switch's technology they could do a ton of crazy stuff with the next Donkey Kong Country game. Now we need a 6th title for the Switch in the series but I want Retro Studios to add and fix a some things in the new game from the previous 2 prequels in the modern era.
